Do you offer financial aid?
Yes. As of September 2018, Trend Setters School has been approved by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in Title IV Student Financial Aid Programs. Financial aid is available for qualifying applicants to the Cosmetology, Barber, or Instructor Training programs. Please contact the Financial Aid Director for details at (573) 803-2030, and visit the Financial Aid page for more information.
Will you help with job placement?

We aid in job placement but do not guarantee job placement. We list job openings in the school to keep students informed about local salon and barber shop openings in the area, and offer education in job-hunting skills like resume preparation. Local salon owners, barbers, and managers are also invited to the school to talk about working in a professional setting and what qualities they look for in potential employees. Students are encouraged to seek industry-related work prior to graduating from the program.

Do you have large classes?

No. We believe it’s important to keep classes small for better individual attention.

Will I get to practice on real people?
Yes. After a short introductory training phase (8 weeks for Cosmetology, 4 weeks for Barber) students in all programs will spend most of their time practicing techniques with actual clients.
What product brands do you use?

We use Redken products for hair care, OPI products for nail care, and OFRA Pro products for our skin care services.
